I have done my research and .... OH NO!.......... There might be another finacial crisis! The World Economy is at risk of ANOTHER finacial crisis. The IMF(International Monetary Fund) They help out countries that are having money problems. Do you think If we had another FINACIAL crisis , would they help us? Will the goverment help? Would Shops close down FOREVER?

The IMF are concerned about the global debt(£139 trillion) which is higher than its ever been before and 60% bigger than 2008!

This couuld make people very very scared. But don't worry!

I believe that the consequences of another financial crisis would not be as drastic as the previous crisis. This is because
the people of England will be more prepared for this event. Also, shops may shut but not all will and some will be able to pay off any debt because of the vastness of the franchise they own. However, personally, I believe that we should be more concerned about the general public's welfare. Research shows that 816,664 families lost their homes because of the financial crisis. This is mainly because of businesses losing money and having to make wage cuts therefore making workers redundant.

As the government have been tied up with Brexit, they will probably not have the resources to help. This is unless they raise taxes to give to the banks. I think that if they do scrape up the resources that it is a necessity that they help because they run the country so if they let this happen the country will crash because of them and no one will vote for them.
Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. Information found at https://money.cnn.com/2009/01/15/real_estate/millions_in_foreclosure/1
