Should parents be paid more ?

I personally think that parents should be paid around 12 - 13 pounds more each week beacause with sufficient jobs they still might not have enough money to provide for their child , ( as baby’s ; bottles , food , chairs , clothes , nappys , crib , blanket , wipes ETC ) causes a lot of tax problems - part of financial crisis cause - yet as the child grows to around 11 their parents shouldn’t be paid for anymore because , they only need a small amount of how much they needed as a baby !

If if anybody tried having children for extra money , and didn’t spend that money providing for their child , the child would be taken away leaning towards the ‘parent’ not being payed the extra 12 - 13 pounds a week

If the back struggled helping with this , they could start charities , fundraisers , bake sales and lots of attention grasping events !

I would love to know your opinion , can’t wait to read them !

Hi, my opinion is that parents should get paid a decent amount because some people work a lot but only get paid a low amount just like my parents.

I agree with this because it is unfair that , parents have more than only themselves to provide for and they get the same wage as a person living on their own . for example : Sarah is a single mother with 3 children , she gets paid 3 pounds every hour ; Amanda is a 22 year old female with no children and no partner , she only has to take care of herself , the same as Sarah , she gets paid 3 pounds an hour ; Sarah is on benefits because she cant afford to: keep her home , feed her family of 4 and provide essential products ! ; Amanda on the other hand : just bought a new home , went to a 5 star restaraunt and bought a lovely new set of 300 pound toiletries . You can clearly see how the parent ( Sarah ) is struggling whilst the single female ( Amanda) was living a luxurious life with exspenses very high . that is a great reason that shows what the difference between two people on a day to day life .

Your reasoning here is really clear; well done for using this analogy to make your point.

I wonder if you can be open-minded and see this from Amanda's point of view? It sounds as if you think it's unfair for her to be paid that much and spend her money in the way she does. But Amanda might argue that she worked very hard for that money, and that Sarah chose to have children so should have thought about the financial implications. What do you think?

When you put that way, Amanda has worked hard for her money and did her job extremely well , even though Sarah had children she may have thought over the financial crisis but things went downhill when it re occurred , and in thought that means she had thought about it yet, all her thinking towards it was then useless because the financial crisis was soo big .
