Curiosity Corner Competition no.36

Last week, we asked you think about ways to change people’s minds about climate change. ToBeFrank’s question was great as it showed what the situation is like at the moment; climate change is causing big problems across the world but some people still don’t believe in it. I’d like to read a post that looks into this; how could you change those people’s minds? Think about solutions to this problem.

TIPS FOR GREAT QUESTIONS

We look for questions that make people think about the issue. Make sure they are:

  • Debatable – make sure people could have different points of view on the answer.
  • Based on what you have learned or thought about the issue so far.

i agree there should be more scientific study into climate change. We should be taught more about climate change in school.

That is a very thoughtful point as we will need to find another planet to live on way in advance if the world was to end.
i agree with what you have said because the human race will no longer exist until we find another planet or find a way to live while the world is no longer supporting us

SHOULD WE MAKE MORE WIND FARMS?
I think that we should because lots of factory make pollution and climate change disrupts and can harms the food chain. Factories and cars produce pollution that traps heat from the sun. Animals and plants may not be able to adapt to the rising temperature. Epic Raven

Do you think we should ban stuff that pollute carbon dioxide?
I think we should because the more things we use that pollute carbon dioxide the faster Climate Change happens.

  21. Ravenscroft Primary School Ravenscroft Primary School

Should we stop using fossil fuels and use more wind turbines ?

which is like pollution and it isn’t good. Wind turbines use the wind to make them spin and they don’t give back anything except energy for us. If we stop using fossil fuels, we will reduce climate change and help the world from floods.

Should we stop using fossil fuels and use more wind termites?
I think yes because when people use fossil fuels to make energy, it lets out an air called carbon dioxide which is like pollution and it isn’t good. Wind turbines use the wind to make them spin and they don’t give back anything except energy for us. If we stop using fossil fuels, we will reduce climate change and help the world from floods.
