  • It's a fact that plants can absorb carbon and have a positive impact on reducing pollution. Therefore, it's worth considering planting more vegetation to reduce our carbon footprint. Let's all do our part in protecting the planet by taking small steps like planting more trees and plants.

  • Great point enthusiastic_buffalo. I strongly agree that cultivating threes is one of the most effective solutions to combat climate change. This is because trees absorb the carbon emissions from the atmosphere which is crucial for our planet. Therefore it is important to encourage three planting and discourage deforestation. By raising public awareness about the benefits of continuous planting of trees, we can protect our planet. While there are other methods of protecting the Earth, planting trees and agriculture are among the most significant ways.

    1. I am not so sure about this because agriculture could help to reduce carbon in the atmosphere but we must not forget that more and more machines are being used in agriculture because people are looking for easier ways of farming and doing agriculture; This could affect the environment because the machines use fuels such as diesel, kerosene, gasoline and LP gas. All these are harmful to the environment because they emit huge amounts of carbon dioxide into the environment so to me, it feels that the work that the trees are doing is being undone by the tractors that are planting the trees.

  • So according to me agriculture is one of the solution to climate change as new crops , trees and plants will be grown the greenery will again increase and will make drastic changes . Due to it the carbon dioxide level which is increasing day by day and is leading to various issues such as acid rain , global warming etc is growing . So as we know in the process of photosynthesis , carbon dioxide which is CO2 is taken by the plants to grow. Now the another change which will come is increase in oxygen level and decrease in the level of other harmful chemicals .
When these changes will take place the increasing activities of pollutants such as melting of snow and gap in the ozone layer will decrease . We just need to make a resolution to work for our environment. Just we have to plant a tree and change will be automatically seen in some time ……….

  • I strongly agree with you now we are running out of time to save millions of things like our future generations, our planet, life on earth and many more but it's said if you neglect your responsibility today it can become worse tommorow so now on our level what's the best solution?..that is planting a small plant this plant can help us to overcome these problems such as global warming, climate change, greenhouse effect and others by maintaining the temperature on earth ,by giving us lives,by giving us fresh oxygen to breathe within a polluted atmosphere..we cannot cure climate change but can reduce it from becoming worse!! A small step towards planting a trees can eventually lead to a safe future....!!!

  • In my opinion I strongly believe agriculture is an effective solution to stop climate change, planting trees and other vegetations helps reduce the carbon dioxide we produce. Stopping deforestation, can also help save many trees and ecosystems that help protect planet. Children can help start clubs dedicated to regrowing forests, also people can also protest against deforestation and companies and wealthy people can fund money into projects that can help regrow forests. AI can also help in the regrowing of trees to , as we all know the world is evolving into a technology based world, scientist are creating seeds that withstand disasters, any weather conditions etc., I find this to be very impressive because here ever people are planting more trees , these trees can stand any obstacle that climate throw at it , thus meaning the population of trees will increase worldwide, reducing carbon footprint.
In my opinion trees are really impotant to humans and the planet and it will be a shame to see them go extinct.

    1. I respectfully agree with you because it’s true that trees can withstand all weather conditions or adapt to a change in the environment. Some examples are the Bald Cypress, Southern Magnolia, and the commonly known Oak. These trees help slow the rate of global warming. Plus, these trees provide habitat and food for a variety of species.

  • I agree with you that agriculture can help to prevent climate change. But the use of modern agriculture practices maybe a threat for the climate. For example- we are now using urea fertilizer in our crop production which is mainly nitrogen gas. This nitrogen gas is one of the main causes of greenhouse gas. Using different chemicals fertilizer in agriculture can destroy the climate instead of protecting it. But if we switch to organic fertilizer then agriculture will be the milestone in preventing the climate change. For this reason, beside crops we need to plant trees too. We need to be aware of our agricultural activities so that it won't affect our climate. Only then agriculture will be able to be the potential solution of climate change I believe.

    1. I agree with you that modern techniques and chemical fertilizers are harmful to environment. Agriculture is more of an economic activity and obviously it won't always care for climate more than profit. So i would suggest rephrasing it into reforestation. This could even help protecting rarer species. Also the crops sown in agriculture would be harvested hence relatively permanent. whereas reforestation is comparatively permanent and better.

  • I'm with you that agriculture plays a crucial role in the environment to stop climate change. It's our ally against global warming as it helps to reduce carbon dioxide gas which one of the key gases responsible for climate change. But farmers use too much chemical fertilizers and insecticides which could affect negatively on the soil leading to water pollution. Fortunately, there is hydroponics which is a method of growing plants without soil. You can grow different types of plants all year long. Hence, it's a good way to conserve water as it uses less water than other traditional ways. Another advantage for hydroponics is that we don't need any machines such as plough or tractors. Therefore, carbon emissions will be decreased.
I will finish my opinion with saying, " He who plants a tree, plants a hope."

  • Firstly, wonderful standpoint, In my opinion I strongly believe that trees can help a lot to stop climate change. Tress play a vital role in the planet, they absorb the carbon we produce and provide as with oxygen. In my opinion I strongly think agriculture showed not the done in farm but also at schools, parks and communities, workplaces. Planting trees and vegetation should be daily routine, teachers should encourages students to plant at least one trees daily .I did some research and I found out mangrove trees absorb the carbon and use the carbon to enrich the soil. Planting more trees like the mangroves and others can help use the carbon we produce to help enrich soils to plant more trees .There is a saying" trees are connected to humans so when one humans die's other tree die's and when one is born and new tree is born". Using trees to help stop climate change is effective will lead use to a brighter tomorrow.

  • I do believe that agriculture can help to resolve climate change, however, climate change has also caused a lot of droughts and issues for farmers trying to plant crops, especially in the drier areas. This is why I think it's important that we keep the soil and trees healthy so farmers will be able to plant more crops and trees, so the trees can absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Plants are very important, but if everyone doesn't pitch in to help stop climate change, it could get hotter and drier, leading to less crops.
