Hi

The topic that made me the most stunned was difference between patriarchy and feminisim talking about feminisim is basically supporting all genders for equal rights and patriarchy means a society where all the power is in men's handle when men are meant supirior. People mostly get confused between feminism they think that being a feminist is only a female because it sounds like female so I just wanted to know you about what exactly is feminism and patriarchy.

In addition to- we might notice in our society that even few females do not support to stop patriarchy now you might have got confused about how come a FEMALE does not support gender equality? In case your friend cracked a joke among your friends, everyone accepted it as funny except you, you didn't mean it was so funny but still you laughed just for not being different the same takes place in our society too females must follow what society says to be the same as them. One day suddenly a female starts criticising the society for gender inequality so the society will also discriminate against her and her self respect is even decreased so therefore the females in society do not raise their voice against gender stereotypes.

Furthermore the practices of child marriage and sati and lack of rights in fact almost 0 rights so many feminists also raised their voice against the matter like Ishwar chandra Vidhya Sagar, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Savitribai Phule, Veerangna Rani Laxmi Bai. Ishwar chandra Vidhya Sagar started the re marriage system in India, Raja Ram Mohan Roy ended Sati practices in India as a woman also has a life to live after the death of her husband, Savitribai Phule ended almost gender discrimination in India, Veerangna Rani Laxmi Bai during British Raj asked her for jhansi( her territory) as the Doctrine of lapse but the one inspired line said by Rani was MEIN APNI JHANSI NAHI DOONGI that means I will not give my jhansi British that time were really strong but she was very courageous that she was the first person and first lady to fight against British Raj after her death a line was said KHUB LADHI MARDANI VO TO JHANSI VALI RANI that means a warrior who fought like a man that was the queen of jhansi that inspired many females. In conclusion to The discrimination against females is that society says if a woman does not have a child so she is not a female and females are for only house chores and they are meant as a property because they are used to handle situations, handles their child and what so ever her family and husband requires so she must fulfill the requests. And that must be stopped.
